Job Title: Family Relationship Centre Liaison Officer - Geraldton
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Client Liaison Officer to join our team at the Family Relationship Centre in Geraldton. This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing client appointments and bookings, maintaining accurate records, and providing a range of services related to mediation, community education, and support services. They will also be required to facilitate information sessions and communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification and/or experience in the community services sector, as well as demonstrated administrative skills and a commitment to professional learning and development. You must also be able to obtain a WA Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance no older than 12 months, and a current WA Driver's License.
Main Responsibilities
1. Client Appointments and Bookings: Manage client appointments and bookings, including triaging and liaising with clients regarding appointments.
2. Record Management: Maintain and update accurate records, data collection, and other documentation as required.
3. Information Sessions: Facilitate and deliver FRC information sessions to clients.
4. Community Services: Provide a range of services in relation to the preparation for mediation, community education, and support services for the Family Relationships Centre (FRC).

Qualifications
1. A tertiary qualification and/or experience in the community services sector is preferred but not essential.
Skills & Experience
1. Demonstrated experience in an administrative role.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
4. A commitment to professional learning and development.
5. High level of experience and competence in MS Office programs - Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to learn Zoom/Teams.
6. Initiative and self-management skills.
7. Commitment to the provision of a quality service.
8. Ability to work within the philosophy and ethos of Centacare.
