Role Overview
The Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) is integral to our group of dedicated training professionals who develop interactive eLearning content for Defence and Security clients around the globe. The ISD will oversee the development of instructional content in close collaboration with subject matter experts, content development specialists, multimedia developers and software developers.
The role will interface with strategic partners and provide schedule and progress updates to project leads. There may also be opportunities to conduct analyses and training design activities as part of this role.
The role we are offering you
* Oversee the training development process, including tracking of team progress as well as organising and assigning work tasks
* Review training content to ensure adherence to development standards and provide feedback to development team
* Develop and maintain design standards, writing standards, media standards within the cyclical process of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation
Our ideal candidate has:
* Cert IV in Training and Assessment
* Proven experience in training development or instructional design, preferably within defence
* Desirable to have experience working with the Australian Quality Training Framework
* xAPI technical understanding
Location:
* Homebush, NSW (alternatively could look at Brisbane, QLD)
* We operate a hybrid working approach.
* Your role will involve some national travel

Security requirements
As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
