Overview
Mercy Health is seeking a Domestic Assistant to support Home Care clients to live independently at home by providing domestic assistance with cleaning and laundry duties. This is a casual, flexible role with day and evening hours in the East Metro region of Melbourne. Ongoing support is provided by a dedicated service team. Responsibilities
* Provide domestic assistance to Home Care clients, including cleaning and laundry, to help them live independently at home.
* Work with a dedicated service team to deliver consistent care and support.
* Maintain flexible working hours to meet client needs.
What you'll bring
* You are reliable, resilient and have a genuine interest in supporting others and your community.
* Strong relationship building, time management and organizational skills; experience in case management and relevant qualifications are preferred.
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
* Strong communication and organisational skills with a practical, safe approach to people's physical limitations and the ability to adapt to individual client needs.
* Evidence of or progression toward: Certificate III in Home or Aged Care (advantageous but not essential); National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance; First Aid Certificate with CPR; Driver Licence; proof of influenza vaccination.
