Corporate Tax Manager Job Overview
The role of a Corporate Tax Manager involves collaborating with leadership teams to coordinate and manage taxation services for corporate clients. This includes delivering comprehensive advisory services, supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, and being a key point of contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate day-to-day operations, including corporate income tax compliance and preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.
* Support senior team members in complex tax engagements, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
* Mentor and supervise junior team members, promoting their career development and a positive team culture.
Requirements:
* Possess detailed knowledge and experience with the Australian taxation system.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and confidence in leading direct engagements with clients on substantive tax matters.
* Hold a CA qualification or equivalent, or have completed other postgraduate studies (e.g., Tax Masters), with technical knowledge of IFRS and Tax Accounting considered an advantage.
