Bereavement Support Specialist Role

The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Providing individualised counselling services to people experiencing bereavement through suicide.
* Facilitating group support sessions for individuals who have experienced loss due to suicide, including evening work arrangements.
* Developing and implementing training programs to enhance the capacity of the health, welfare and education sectors to effectively respond to people experiencing bereavement through suicide.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as social work or psychology.
* Substantial experience in delivering counselling and group work services, particularly in relation to bereavement, trauma and suicide.
