Ingleside State School is seeking applications for a cleaner to join the team, commencing 21 January 2026.
We are seeking a reliable and efficient cleaner to join our team at Ingleside State School, with full-time hours available until 31 January, then 12 hours per week until 16 June 2026, with the possibility that more hours may become available during the year and an extension may be offered. This is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

About The Role
As a cleaner, you will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming school environment for students, staff and visitors.
Hours
Monday: 6.25 hours - temporary, backfilling leave until 31 January (may be extended)
Tuesday: 6.25 hours - temporary, backfilling leave until 31 January (may be extended)
Wednesday: 6 hours - ongoing
Thursday: 6 hours - temporary only, backfilling leave until 31 January (not ongoing)
Friday: 6 hours - ongoing
Your Responsibilities
* Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
* Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
* Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
* Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.

Progressional roles show a salary range spanning two classifications. Appointment will be made at the level appropriate to skill and fulfilment of required criteria.
