Your New Role
The Activity Officer will primarily be responsible for building community involvement and ownership of cultural activites/programs within the local community. This will include the delivery and supervision of a range of programs that address the cultural needs of the local community. About You
* Experience in delivering and supervising cultural programs and working with children and young people within the community
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationship with stakeholders including young people from diverse backgrounds
* Effective time management and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, which may include working in remote communities
* Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Hold a light rigid driver's licence and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain)
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or ability to obtain)
