About the role
Value Lending is looking for a part-time Loan Processor/ Para Broker to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our mortgage brokers by processing loan applications and providing administrative assistance to ensure smooth client outcomes. With a focus on efficiency and attention to detail, you will be an integral part of our growing mortgage services business.
This part-time position offers flexible working days to accommodate work-life balance.
What you'll be doing
* Process loan applications from start to finish, including gathering all necessary documentation, liaising with lenders, and ensuring a seamless application experience for our clients
* Provide administrative support to mortgage brokers, including preparing pre-approvals, loan estimates, and other client-facing documents
* Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the loan process
* Collaborate with the wider team to identify and implement process improvements
* Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a loan processing or administrative role within the mortgage or financial services industry
* A minimum of 2+ years of loan processing experience is required
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, lenders, and colleagues
* Proficient in using mortgage-related software and systems
* Experience with Mercury and Apply Online mortgage software systems is essential
* A team-oriented approach and the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position
