Position Overview:
As a Level 1 Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in their technical team, assisting in resolving IT support tickets for a variety of clients. This role encompasses support for laptops, phones, routers, switches, and other IT assets. We're seeking an individual with a passion for IT and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to clients, resolving IT support tickets efficiently and effectively.
* Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, Windows, and networking (routers and switches).
* Collaborate with the technical team to ensure timely resolution of client issues.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with clients to understand and address their technical needs.
* Occasionally provide onsite support at our Blackburn North office or at client locations across the Melbourne area.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a support role, preferably in a Managed Service environment.
* An understanding of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows.
* Familiarity with networking concepts, including routers and switches is desirable.
* Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
Location:
The role is a onsite position, involving both remote and onsite support. Their office is based in Blackburn North, Melbourne, but you will also travel to client locations across the Melbourne area as needed.
