Pink Hill Hotel Beaconsfield has a fantastic opportunity to join it's team at a purpose-built state of the art hotel with two kitchens that cater for a large bistro and multiple function spaces.
We are seeking a grill chef & pan chef with a passion for creativity and an eye for detail to assist the head chef to establish procedures and best practice.
What we are looking for
Previous experience in a large-scale hospitality operation
Minimum 1-2 years experience in large-scale hospitality operations is required
A culinary professional that can deliver exceptional service
Knowledge of food safety & hygiene
Chefs / Cooks, with a passion for cooking and the industry
People who want to grow with in a professional team
Australian work rights are required
Flexibility to work a roster based on the growth of the business
Availability to work shift patterns including weekends is required
Key responsibilities include
Assisting in daily operations of the kitchen
Execution of the bistro / function menus
Implementation processes and best practice
Ensuring Food Safety & Hygiene procedures are followed
Working closely with the head chef, sous chef and venue manager to analyse competitors & market trends while providing constant & consistent development of the menu
