PLC/Automation Engineer – Ulan Underground Mine (Mudgee, NSW)
Ulan Underground Mine is an established, efficient, high‐production underground longwall coal mining operation in the western coalfields of NSW.
Key responsibilities and qualifications
* An electrical trade qualification and/or tertiary engineering qualification.
* In‐depth knowledge of SCADA systems and Rockwell Automation software.
* Knowledge and experience in IT networking and system administration is desirable.
* Lead, maintain and develop the automation equipment and communication systems across the operation.
* Strong focus on system reliability, supervising personnel and continuous improvement aligned to delivering mine‐site outputs.
