About the Role:
This role is perfect for someone with a person-centred approach, who has a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with physical or intellectual disability, who enjoys a challenge, and enjoys the rewarding feeling of making a difference in someone's life.
We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for an adult requiring support within the home involving Community Access and Personal Care.
Shifts available:
* Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 12:30pm - 2:30pm and 2:30pm - 6:30pm
* Wednesday 8am - 6pm
* Friday to Sunday 10am - 4pm
Positions may be available in surrounding suburbs.
Pay rate Minimum starting rate is $43.33 per hour, plus allowances for evenings, weekends and public holidays (based on qualifications and experience).
Skills and Experience:
Experience and/or qualifications in Individual Support, Disability Support, Aged Care or equivalent (students currently studying in these areas, as well as Nursing, Physio Therapy, OT and Paramedicine also encouraged to apply)
* Enthusiastic, positive approach to supporting people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability.
* Reliable, kind, and caring nature, with good work ethics
* Well-presented and a professional approach
* Active with average physical fitness level
* Flexible and adaptable to the needs of people's individual support needs

Requirements:
* Current resume and 2 professional referees
* NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
* Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employer)
* Current driver license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
* Current First Aid (HLTAID011/HLTAID003) & CPR (HLTAID009/HLTAID001)
