Topcon Precision Agriculture (TPA) is a subsidiary of Topcon Positioning Systems Inc. (TPS). TPA develops and manufactures leading-edge satellite positioning and guidance systems, electronic controls, mapping, monitoring, and land leveling solutions for agriculture.
Provide service and technical support to the company service department technicians on matters relating to training, documenting, repairing, operating, and setting up test gear for the range of Precision Agriculture equipment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee and lead the day to day requirements of service technicians to ensure all work is completed in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide on the job training or guidance to employees on current or new products or processes
- Create, maintain documentation and procedures related to service repairs of products, training, and test equipment
- Support/diagnose technical problems and repair electronic equipment as required.
- Ensure work is completed as efficiently as possible, especially during peak seasons.
- Develop and strengthen key strategic relationships with external and internal stakeholders as necessary to gain or provide information to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
- Provide feedback to employees on quality and quantity of work performed.
- Work collaboratively with others and effectively using cross-functional resources to achieve results.
- Conduct performance appraisals/goal setting and monitor progress.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience and Qualifications
- Technical or Trade Qualifications in Electronics Repair /engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in leading a team of technicians
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in electronic and electromechanical product repairs
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of schematics and electronic circuits
- Experience in documenting and creating written procedures
- Experience in training of technicians an advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of GPS technicality an advantage
