About the role
At the Ironbar Saloon in the vibrant coastal town of Port Douglas, Queensland, we are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Wait Staff to join our dynamic team. This casual position is an excellent opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills and contribute to the exceptional service that our guests have come to expect.
What you'll be doing
1. Providing prompt and attentive table service to customers, including taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and responding to customer requests in a friendly and efficient manner
2. Maintaining a clean and well-organised dining area, ensuring tables are set and cleared in a timely fashion
3. Assisting with food and beverage preparation as required
4. Staying up-to-date with menu items and daily specials to provide accurate information to customers
5. Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
3. A friendly, energetic and enthusiastic personality, with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry
4. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a busy restaurant environment
5. A flexible and adaptable approach to working, with the ability to work efficiently in a team
6. A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or the willingness to obtain one
