The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating safe and optimal extraction of gold from underground mining operations, developing and implementing plans to meet operational targets, and ensuring compliance with site Environmental and Safety Standards.
* Develop and implement weekly, monthly and quarterly production plans to achieve operational targets.
* Oversee the stope design process and subsequent drill and blast plans to maximize recovery and minimize dilution.
* Collaborate with teams to develop and record mine information, ensuring safe and economic target delivery.
* Reconcile mined plan versus actual performance to identify areas for improvement, including End of Month reconciliation.
Requirements
* Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering or a related field.
* Supervisory or Management Training completed.
* WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency.
* Significant underground engineering experience, preferably in gold mining.
* Experience working in both contractor and owner miner environments.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mining software such as Deswik, Deswik Scheduler & Ventsim.
