Payroll & Finance Officer
Level 4 - $107,204.10 per annum (incl $20,000 Port Hedland Allowance) + 12% Superannuation

The Role
As the Payroll and Finance Officer, you will based at our Civic Centre in Port Hedland, providing effective support across payroll and finance functions, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, accounts payable and associated reporting activities.
Working closely with the Payroll Coordinator and Human Resources team, you'll help ensure the correct application of the Industrial Agreement, employment contracts and internal operating procedures. You'll play a key role in supporting payroll reconciliations, maintaining confidential employee records, and delivering a reliable service to internal stakeholders.
You'll also assist the broader Finance team with accounts payable processing, resolving payment queries, reporting and general administrative support. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem solving, working to deadlines and contributing as part of a collaborative team.
Experience in using the TechnologyOne System is highly regarded.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
* Tertiary Qualification in Accounting or related discipline, or demonstrated knowledge of finance and accounting procedures
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role
* National Police Clearance
* Current 'C' class drivers license
* Rights to work in Australia
