Job Description:
* We are seeking a skilled data scientist to join our team. As a senior data scientist, you will be responsible for applying advanced analytics and artificial intelligence to support investigations and improve ways of working within a fast-moving environment.
* You will collaborate with colleagues to identify business problems and translate them into data questions, clean and transform data from diverse sources, and apply statistical, AI, and machine learning techniques to generate insights or build solutions.
* You will create static and interactive visualizations tailored to different audiences and communicate technical findings through reports, presentations, and discussions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience leading a team or similar role in a fast-paced and large complex people-centred organization.
* Proficiency in a broad range of data acquisition, processing, statistical, AI, and machine learning techniques, including ability to review use of these techniques by others.
* Experience with one or more analytical programming languages (e.g., R, Python).
* Highly developed problem-solving skills; ability to define business problems and derive accurate and relevant insights from a broad range of data for complex use cases.
