Clinical Lead Physiotherapist – AHP Level 4 – Education and Support
Fixed term, full-time, working 76 hours per fortnight from 7 July 2025 to 27 March 2026.

Role Overview
The Clinical Lead Physiotherapist - Education and Support will develop physiotherapy education within Tasmania's North public health system, supporting its growth across the state. You will lead an engaged team, sharing your knowledge and experiences to ensure high-quality care and workforce development.
Team Environment
In the North, our team of approximately 80 passionate staff is dedicated to professional development and evidence-informed practice, closely linked with the broader multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate student placements, including compliance, planning, orientation, and evaluation.
* Provide leadership, education, and support to clinical educators.
* Support and train new graduates, focusing on clinical competence, professional identity, and wellbeing.
* Coordinate staff education, training, and clinical governance in collaboration with leadership.
* Assist in recruiting and orienting new staff.
* Contribute to operational and strategic decisions within the department.
* Represent Physiotherapy North in statewide networks and external stakeholder engagements.
* Collaborate with universities to ensure quality education resources.
* Develop and report on physiotherapy services using data analysis.
* Serve as a resource for clinical education in THS North.

Additional Details
Salary: $123,717 to $134,336 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation. Salary packaging benefits and allowances are available. Relocation assistance up to $15,000 for overseas and $10,000 for interstate applicants.
Essential criteria include registration with the relevant National Board and appropriate professional qualifications. Desirable criteria include postgraduate qualifications in education or clinical teaching and five+ years of post-graduate experience.
