This job is an opportunity to relocate to Toowoomba, QLD The Position Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join the Toowoomba Region team on a permanent basis. Based in Toowoomba, you will have the opportunity to apply your established skills and experience on a variety of construction projects across Toowoomba and regional Queensland. Your approach to work will align with our client's commitment to quality, safety and excellence – doing it once, doing it safely, and doing it well! To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate: A professional, open and honest approach to communication Vocational or Tertiary qualifications in Safety (minimum Cert IV) Experience in leading safety management on construction projects, including implementation of systems and processes, on-site training and education Experience and knowledge of workplace health and safety, quality and environmental management regulations and practices as relative to construction sites Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite Strong grasp of construction methodologies specifically relating to ground works, structures and formwork, with the ability to understand and interpret drawings and design documentation advantageous Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a highly developed ability to build and develop positive working relationships.
