Prior experience in the ophthalmic/medical industry is preferred for application. A part or full time work schedule is preferred. Work Schedule & Locations
* You will be based at Charlestown for all your work days, making travelling to and from work more predictable and convenient
Specific Job Responsibilities
I) Clinical Technician/ Orthoptist
* Welcome and prepare patients for consultations
* Conduct a vision assessment and intraocular pressure testing
* Capture images using specialised ophthalmic cameras and equipment
* Work closely with the Ophthalmologists and clinic staff to ensure smooth operations
II) Medical Receptionist
* You are the welcoming first point of contact for patients, families and visitors, both in person and over the phone.
* Manage appointments, phone calls, messages and general enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
* Process billing, payments and Medicare claims accurately, and assist with account enquiries.
