**JOB OVERVIEW**
We're looking for a part-time bookkeeper to join our team onsite at our Kingscliff office. The role supports the day-to-day admin, payroll, and bookkeeping needs of four hospitality businesses.
You'll be responsible for managing tasks independently, keeping on top of cash flow, and ensuring accurate data entry. This role is hands-on and not suited to remote work. Days and hours are flexible, and we’re looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused, and confident juggling multiple priorities.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Supplier Payments and Expenses**
- Ensure all supplier bills are appropriately authorised for payment, and process payments when authorised.
- Recording supplier expenses using Hubdoc software and reconciling those expenses in Xero bank feed.
- Record supplier payments in accounting software
- Update cash flow forecasts to manage supplier payments
**Reconciliations of Bank Accounts**
- Reconcile all bank accounts weekly.
- Reconcile all loan accounts on at least a quarterly basis.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation reports of all bank, loan and credit card accounts.
**Processing of Payroll**
- Maintain confidential records for all employees
- Creation of new employees in Xero.
- Process employee pays, prepare ABA files & process within internet banking
- Track employee leave accruals.
- Reconcile monthly/quarterly PAYG.
- Reconcile and make weekly superannuation payments.
Reconcile end-of-year payroll accounts.
- Complete Workcover declarations
**Ad hoc tasks**
- Additional tasks or project work required by Owner/s.
Please note: Work from home is not possible in this position.

Pay: $500.00 - $600.00 per week
