Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Workshop Administrator to join our team at Thornton depot. This is a full-time opportunity that will provide administrative support in procurement of materials and services to enable the workshop and panel shop to effectively maintain the bus fleet.
The Workshop Administrator will be responsible for generating purchase requisitions, issuing approved purchase orders, coordinating inspections and maintenance of workshop plant and equipment, participating in internal and external audits, assisting with the management of our fleet of vehicles, and performing general logistical and administrative duties.
Requirements:
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Understanding of procurement process for materials and services
* An understanding of the workings of an automotive workshop and/or the bus industry/transport would be an advantage
* Good analytical/problem solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to plan, prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines
* Experience in ERP software such as Microsoft AX or SAP highly desirable
