About the Role The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to
provide a quality educational service of training, assessment and
guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package
objectives.
Lecturers may also be involved in the provision
of consultancy services to industry/community
clients.
TAFE SA is now inviting applications from suitable candidates,
in line with the selection criteria outlined within the Role
Descriptor and Industry Addendum.
The successful applicant will have: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in Fabrication and Welding, with current, hands-on industry involvement Trade qualifications to a minimum of Certificate III Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or TAE40116 Strong expertise in advanced welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, ARC, and gas welding, along with comprehensive fabrication skills Understanding of current fabrication industry trends, knowledge and cultural practices Familiarity with the MEM Training Package and its application in vocational education Proficient in using digital tools (e.g. email, PowerPoint, web-based platforms, spreadsheets, and Office suite) to support training delivery Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and collaborate effectively with colleague
