Staff Specialist - Child Protection, Queensland Health - Townsville, Australia
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership in Child Protection Services for the Townsville University Hospital (TUH) and the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
* Lead within a team of general and subspecialist paediatricians and work closely with the child protection unit to support a TUH response to incidents and issues.
* Attend SCAN (Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect) meetings as a core representative of Queensland Health.
* Participate in the on-call roster for child protection services.
Requirements
* Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable).
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with General Paediatrics.
* Appreciated: awarded Scope of Clinical Practice (SoCP) by the Townsville HHS Credentialing and SoCP committee.
* Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
* Probation period may apply.
* Pre-employment checks will be conducted.

* Salary range: $103.80 to $131.61 p.h. part-time (L18-L27).
