What you'll bring with you:
Certificate 3 in Community Services or equivalent or willing to work towards obtaining
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
Blue Card
Current Criminal Record Check (No older than 12 mths)
Current QLD Driver's licence - Provisional and above
Own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance for business purposes.
Experience working with people with physical, intellectual and autism spectrum disorder.
Be willing to transport participants for community access.
Current First Aid certificate
Current CPR certificate
Your tasks and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assisting participants to navigate the community or attend events that interest the participant
Assist participants to attend appointments, access hobbies, access exercise activities
Supporting participants to undertake personal care routines, personal hygiene routines and support them to build independence with life skills activities.
Mentoring and working with those who have executive functioning and sensory challenges
