Area Manager – South Western Region We are currently partnering with a well‑established residential builder to recruit a newly created Area Manager – South Western Region position. This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced construction professional who can balance hands‑on supervision of a busy build program while leading and developing a small team. You will oversee a significant portfolio of builds across the region, managing performance, quality, and delivery timelines, while mentoring two trainee supervisors. This role offers a genuine pathway to Construction Manager and further senior leadership opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage a high-volume residential build program
Lead, mentor, and develop two trainee supervisors
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Maintain strong relationships with trades and subcontractors
Drive site safety, compliance, and performance outcomes
Provide hands‑on leadership across the Southwestern Region
About You
Carpentry trade qualification
QBCC Supervisor’s Licence
Proven experience managing volume residential builds
Experience delivering dual occupancy and lowset homes
Strong leadership and team management capability
Stable employment history with demonstrated tenure
Well‑established trade network
High level of organisation and time management
Highly Regarded
QBCC Open Builder’s Licence
Experience delivering townhouse projectsExtensive management experience
10+ years in supervisory or builder roles
Exposure to high‑end custom home construction
