The Opportunity As a Senior Project Manager based in our Melbourne headquarters, you will be the bridge between our cutting-edge technology and real-world implementation. This is a technical, high-impact role focused on the "Transition-In" phase—taking Australian contracts from tender and design through to successful Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations. You will navigate cross-functional landscapes, aligning engineering, procurement, and client stakeholders to ensure our life-saving tech is deployed flawlessly. Reporting to the Transition-In Lead, you’ll be a member of the 'Transition-In" team, a group typically defined by high energy and a "get-it-done" attitude. You’ll collaborate regularly with our R&D teams, Service and Delivery teams, balancing the fast-paced nature of a global scale-up with a supportive team vibe. What You’ll Do Execute End-to-End Delivery : Own the full lifecycle of project tenders, design, and implementation for Australian road safety contracts. Bridge the Technical Gap : Translate complex engineering requirements into actionable project plans, ensuring all deliverables are technically sound and strategically aligned. Drive Operational Readiness : Lead seamless handovers to BAU teams, ensuring operational personnel are trained and equipped to sustain high service levels. Influence Stakeholders : Act as the primary liaison for state-level customers and vendors, negotiating outcomes that foster a customer-centric culture. Optimise Resource s: Masterfully manage project budgets to ensure resources are maximised and targets are met. What We're Looking For Technical Foundation : A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline. Proven Track Record : 5 years of Project Management experience, ideally managing complex infrastructure, system integration, or government contracts. Toolbox Proficiency : Deep experience with Smartsheet, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence for tracking high-velocity project data. Adaptable Leadership : A proactive, "people-first" mindset with the ability to lead virtual and face-to-face workshops across different time zones. Certification in PMP, PMI, Prince2, or Agile is highly desired.
