Ardent Disability Care is recruiting qualified Support Workers to join our team across Ipswich, Logan, and the Gold Coast.
We have multiple roles available supporting both paediatric and adult participants, including participants with high and complex support needs. Some roles operate across 24-hour rosters, with availability required for day, evening, and night shifts.
About the Role
As a Support Worker with Ardent Disability Care, you will provide reliable, person-centred support to participants in their homes and within the community. You will deliver care in line with established support plans, follow clear instructions, and maintain accurate documentation.
This role requires professionalism, strong boundaries, consistency, and the ability to provide calm, reliable support in a structured care environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide hands-on support with daily living activities and personal care
* Deliver high-intensity support where required, in line with individual care needs and instructions
* Support participants with community access, appointments, and outings
* Provide calm, consistent emotional support and reassurance
* Complete light household tasks related to the participant's care
* Follow established support plans, procedures, and instructions
* Maintain accurate shift notes and documentation in line with NDIS requirements
* Communicate effectively with families and the Ardent team to ensure continuity of care
* Uphold professional boundaries, confidentiality, and organisational policies
What We're Looking For
* Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Disability, or Aged Care or Enrolled Nurse (EN) qualification
* Blue Card (essential for all roles)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential for all roles)
* Previous experience in disability or support work (essential)
* Experience providing high-intensity supports is desirable and will be considered for a broader range of roles
* Strong communication skills and the ability to follow care instructions
* Reliable, consistent, and professional approach to work
* Ability to maintain clear boundaries and confidentiality
* Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
