We are a cutting-edge organization specializing in the development of quantum sensing technology. Our mission is to push the boundaries of what is thought possible and make commercial quantum sensing a reality.
Our team consists of industry leaders in the field of quantum sensing. We believe that the time for commercialization has arrived, and we are committed to making it happen.
We are a rapidly growing company – with an exceptional pace of innovation and technological advancements. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who share our vision of taking the commercial sensing game to the next level.
About You
You are a passionate learner, always eager to build new things and take on challenging projects. You apply these principles to all aspects of science and engineering and are excited to work at the forefront of technology development. You are an expert in your field and are ready to dive into the complex world of quantum sensing.
If you're missing some skills, don't worry! You will be working alongside a global team of experts to fill in the gaps. Whether you come from a large corporation or not, the idea of being part of a fast-paced, highly iterative, and integrated team excites you.
Your Role
You will work closely with our co-founders to develop digital and analog circuits for our field sensors and contribute to all electronics and optical sub-systems of our quantum sensors. This is a hands-on role requiring a broad skill set, including general circuit design and prototyping, RF system development, and integration of FPGAs and SoCs.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and deployment of our sensors and engage daily in tasks such as:
* Collaborating with physicists and engineers to develop field-ready quantum sensors
* Managing and growing our in-house electronics capabilities and team
* Designing, prototyping, and optimizing sensor subsystems and custom PCBs
* Working with manufacturing partners for timely prototype and series production
* Debugging and optimizing subsystem and sensor performance in harsh environments
* Guiding the future electronics pathway of our organization
The ideal candidate has:
* BSc/Msc degree in electrical or electronics engineering, or equivalent
* 3-6+ years of related work experience in the industry
* Experience in Low Noise Analog Circuit design
* Experience in RF and MW Circuit Design
* Able to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment
* Eagerness to plan and drive forward complex electronics projects within a small team
* Demonstrated track record of electronic troubleshooting and SMT-soldering
* Experience with schematic design, PCB layout, and prototyping for mixed-signal designs and, optimally, RF & Microwave systems
* Proficiency with Xilinx SoCs and Xilinx toolchain (e.g. Vivado), or similar
* Experience with power systems design, battery-operated devices, and EMC testing and device certification is beneficial
* Must have a current right to work in Australia
We offer a competitive salary, employee share option package, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
