Accountant / Osbourne Park / Mining Resources / $110,000 - $125,000 / Flexible Working / Progression
A large mining resources business with operations across Australia is looking to recruit a skilled Accountant. The main purpose of the accountant role will be to assist the Financial Controller and wider finance team with various accounting and reporting tasks. This is a great opportunity to develop & progress within a successful organisation.
The accountant's key duties will include:
1. Preparing month-end tasks, including journals and accruals
2. Dealing with reconciliations, including balance sheet & intercompany
3. Financial reporting, including variance analysis
4. Reviewing financial data
5. Investigating and resolving queries, including tax
6. Assisting with sustainability reporting
7. Assisting with ad hoc projects
Key skills required:
8. Ideally, a Chartered Accountant's background, trained in Practice
9. Strong analytical and reporting skills
10. Excellent & confident communication skills
11. Confident with excel
12. Proven at meeting strict deadlines
