About This Opportunity Step into a role where your expertise shapes the next generation of medical professionals As a Lecturer in Medical Education, you'll help design and deliver engaging learning experiences across Years 1 and 2 of UQ's MD program, working collaboratively within supportive course teams to inspire students and ensure strong learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include : Teaching: Deliver high-quality teaching and curriculum innovation across Years 1 and 2 of the MD program, including contribution to design of learning activities and assessments, applying contemporary pedagogies, and supporting student development through coaching and facilitation.
Collaborate to enhance program quality by coordinating a designated focus area, contributing to committees, mentoring colleagues, planning educational activities, and building partnerships that strengthen teaching practice and the student experience.
Teaching Impact/Research/Scholarship of Teaching and Learning: Advance evidence-based medical education by applying best-practice research to curriculum design, contributing to impactful scholarship, and collaborating on projects that enhance teaching and learning.
Supervision and Researcher Development (where applicable): Support high-quality research practice by engaging in effective supervision and modelling responsible, ethical research conduct for others.
Citizenship and Service: Contribute to a values-led, inclusive, and accountable academic environment by modelling UQ values, supporting culturally safe practices, engaging in ongoing professional development and mandatory training, and actively participating in MD Program and University governance.
