About the Role
This position plays a pivotal part in overseeing and directing a specific scope of project activities, acting as a sub-project manager to ensure timely completion within budget constraints. You will be based in Perth, WA, with regular FIFO roster rotations.
* Assists project management in coordinating project planning, engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up.
* Establishes and maintains liaison with customers to resolve problems and coordinate functions.
* Participates in planning and establishing schedules, forecasts, budgets, parameters, etc., and monitors progress to ensure timeliness and budget adherence.
In the project home office, you will integrate engineering, procurement, and contract preparation for relevant area scope. This includes ensuring completion in accordance with approved project schedule, budget, and execution plan while meeting quality standards.
* Identifies deviations from plan, reports them, and mitigates their impact.
* Supervises engineering activity for designated portions of the project.
In the construction phase, you may be assigned to the field construction organization in a managerial capacity. Key responsibilities include:
* Directing and coordinating construction and related activities within your area of responsibility.
* Ensuring assigned jobsite operations comply with design/specifications, are completed safely on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Cultivating collaboration with client's resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned areas of operations.
