Rex Airlines (Regional Express) is Australia's largest independent regional airline operating a fleet of Saab 340 aircraft flying to 49 destinations, providing a link between cities and regional Australia.
Our flight attendants are well known for their award‐winning, warm & genuine inflight service, making Rex a standout airline in the competitive aviation market.
Rex is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as full‐time solo flight attendants based in Wagga Wagga.
Responsibilities
* Manage the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.
* Provide a caring and personalised service to passengers.
* Perform equipment and security checks, give in‐flight announcements, and serve food and beverage.
* Clean the cabin and handle any situations that may occur on your own.
* Maintain a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.
Requirements
* Be 18 years of age or over
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency
* Be no taller than 173 cm
* Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
* Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate completed within the last three years
* Be able to demonstrate that you have:
o Completed a minimum of three years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or
o Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least three of the last five years, or
o Worked in the UK, Ireland or USA for at least three of the last five years, or
o Completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5.
* Hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) involving a police security check
* Be passionate about your role and committed to delivering exceptional and consistent customer service
* Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or a floating device (a swim assessment is required)
* Be flexible and adaptable; working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periods
* Maintain a high level of personal presentation
* Have a natural willingness to please and care for people
