An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse Consultant / Psychologist / Occupational Therapist / Social Worker - Senior to work within the Child and Youth Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service. The Child and Youth Consultation Liaison Psychiatry service works with children, young people and their families/carers during their hospital admission to a medical / surgical or paediatric setting, or whilst being cared for in the emergency department, by supporting them to make choices about and learn new skills for managing their mental health difficulties.

Key responsibilities include:
Deliver independent high level clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced practitioners and students as delegated.
Provide high level clinical interventions and assessment as well as undertaking service development and evaluation to enhance services provided by the Child and Youth Consultation Liaison Psychiatry team.
Remuneration value up to $ p.a., comprising salary rates $ $69.55 p.h. (HP4) and remuneration value up to $ p.a., comprising salary rates $ $72.58 p.h. (Nurse Grade 7)., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (part time position, 60.8 hrs p.f.). Applications will remain current for 12 months..
