As a highly skilled IT professional, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our technology infrastructure. This involves maintaining the overall quality and cost-effectiveness of all aspects of our IT infrastructure, while ensuring high levels of support across multiple sites.
You will be responsible for providing an escalation point for all IT infrastructure aspects, resolving major infrastructure issues efficiently and effectively.
This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity to join a high-performing team, based at our modern head office. Our facilities offer a vibrant environment with a balcony, BBQ area, collaborative and quiet spaces, and plenty of natural light.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in large multi-site environments, with expertise in windows administration/system management/3rd level support. You should also have 3+ years in leadership roles and a proven track record in systems support, along with detailed knowledge of the Microsoft family of applications.

* Leadership through development and mentoring of IT support teams, responsiveness to business needs and motivation of diverse, cross-functional teams to achieve positive business results.
* Delivery of infrastructure services, networks, and applications with the view of maintaining capacity and availability.
* Development and recommendation of policies and procedures regarding data security and privacy.
* Management of allocated projects relating to business integration and office establishments, including liaison with network, telephony, and other engineers/suppliers.
* Proactive lead service improvements of administrative tasks via automation and scripting.
* Participation in reviewing operational infrastructure requirements and providing recommendations as required.
* Timely, sound decision-making based on analysis & experience, relying on extensive experience and good judgment to ensure expectations are met and business objectives are achieved.
* Relationship management with Managed Service Providers, including period reviews to ensure appropriate vendors are engaged.
* Cost control activities and monitoring of revenues and expenditures to assure sound fiscal control.
* Ongoing improvements to documentation of system configurations, application installs, and procedures, etc.
* Ensure all changes in the infrastructure and application environment are satisfactorily tested and implemented via the change management process, aligning with ITIL best practices and standards.
* Assistance and guidance provided to the rest of the team, help pass on knowledge to junior members.
* Major incident support in accordance with the escalation procedures.
