About this Role
The incumbent will provide high-level administrative support to the School of Nursing and Midwifery, collaborating closely with academic and professional staff to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate records, oversee administrative processes, and ensure compliance with relevant university policies.
* Lead and mentor administrative staff, delegate tasks effectively, and promote professional development to uphold service excellence.
* Utilise enterprise systems to coordinate with the Head of School and Academic staff for efficient timetabling and scheduling.
* Organise events such as orientations and training sessions, ensuring smooth logistics and execution.
* Identify and implement process enhancements aligning with best practices and university objectives.
* Provide effective administrative support to the School Manager and Administration Coordinator in supervising the administrative function within the team.
* Compile reports, type correspondences, submissions, statistical summaries, and data sets as required.
* Liaise with various University departments to facilitate collaboration and assist the Head of School or their delegate in reviewing policies, procedures, guidelines, and forms.
* Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and organise correspondence for meetings.
