Role Summary
The Dentist in Charge directs and oversees the operations of the dental clinic and School Dental Service in the Kalgoorlie area. In addition to managing staff and maintaining equipment, you will provide routine and advanced clinical treatment to enrolled patients. You will also develop epidemiological data for the clinical area and initiate relevant community dental care programs aimed at improving dental health in the community by liaison with dentists, service organisations, education and local authorities and relevant community groups.

About the Organization
DHS is part of the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) and is the largest public dental health services provider in WA, operating state-wide from a network of fixed and mobile clinics, funded by the WA Government. DHS provides the School Dental Service for children aged 5-16 years, General Dental Services to eligible adults with a current health care card or pension concession card, Subsidy Schemes and Special Dental Services.
