Key Responsibilities of a Storeperson
This role combines sales administration, customer service, and sales responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough stock audits to manage inventory efficiently.
Maintaining accurate records and performing general administrative tasks, including housekeeping and OH&S compliance are also essential duties of this role. You will coordinate branch supplies ordering, cyclic stock counts, and stock cleansing procedures to ensure seamless operations.
In addition, you will process and follow up on overdue purchase and customer orders to ensure timely delivery. Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding goods availability, delivery dates, and queries is also an important aspect of this role.
You will reconcile inbound and outbound goods against invoices and delivery dockets for accuracy and pick, pack, and label outgoing goods efficiently. Providing support to the Branch Manager and team members as needed is also an essential part of this role.
