We're now looking for an experienced and passionate Certificate IV Qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our team in a casual capacity.
This role will primarily be based at our West Gosford hospital, with shifts rotating across hospital nursing, surgical nursing, team‑based consulting, and customer care. At times, you may also assist at our other local clinics as needed.
Our team currently includes one vet (soon to be two), a practice manager, receptionist, four nurses, and three student nurses—with more team members expected to join us soon. We're a close‑knit, dynamic group that values growth, teamwork, and a positive and supportive workplace culture.
About You
* Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
* A minimum of three years of recent nursing experience, with at least one year of paid employment
* Strong clinical skills, including:
o Radiology and dentistry
o ECG
o Blood pressure
o Capnography
* A friendly and team‑oriented personality—someone who thrives in a positive and collaborative environment
* A passion for ongoing learning and professional development
* Confidence in mentoring junior nurses and student interns
* Adaptability and motivation to thrive in a changing and busy environment
