Based at our Boral Concrete plant in Bulleen, servicing the North East Link Project, we have an exciting opportunity for experienced plant operators to join our team on a full-time, 12 month contract, working a rotating roster.
Role Overview
As a Plant Operator, you will be at the heart of our concrete production processes, ensuring that our plant runs smoothly and efficiently.
Depending on your skills and experience, you'll conduct a range of activities including operating fixed and mobile plant, batching concrete to order, monitoring production metrics, cleaning, yard duties, and be an effective member of the team, identifying and resolving any issues that arise in a dynamic work environment.
Individuals with experience in concrete batching, operating front end loaders, operating forklifts and working within a safety critical environment are encouraged to apply.
Your Day will involve any and all of:
* Accurate batching of concrete orders using advanced systems.
* Operating front-end loaders to weigh and load materials.
* Managing daily administration, including stock control and reporting.
* Inspecting and maintaining plant equipment and trucks.
* General housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment.
* Upholding and following safety standards and procedures.
