Full time Permanent Positions – 4 Vacancies (Maintenance Fitters)

The Role
The role offers the chance to lead plant maintenance in a dynamic FMCG environment. The successful applicant will be exposed to a large variety of world‐class equipment and a range of technological advancements as they are implemented throughout the business. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, Shift Supervisor and Planner, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Undertake routine preventative maintenance activities to maintain reliability of plant and equipment
- Respond to machine downtime events with haste, requiring fault finding/diagnosis and repairs
- Complete daily shift handover reports in collaboration with your team of fitters to communicate to the business
- Supervise, assist, and mentor other maintenance team members
- Plan and install new plant and equipment projects
- Provide immediate responses and troubleshooting expertise to emergency work orders/breakdowns as required
- Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the maintenance team, including maintaining punctuality
- Participate in further training required by Hazeldenes
About You
- Relevant trade qualifications as a Qualified Fitter & Turner, Certificate III Engineering / Mechanical trade
- Experience in the Food Industry
- Experience supervising and mentoring tradesmen in a production environment
- Sound problem‐solving techniques/ability and mechanical aptitude
- Utilisation of a CMMS and Microsoft suite (advantageous, but not essential)
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures
- Forklift Licence (advantageous, but not essential)
- EWP Licence (advantageous, but not essential)
- Current Driver's licence
