Job Description:
Our organization is seeking a skilled Surveillance Officer to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards on infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil construction projects, with a strong track record of managing and verifying onsite activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide onsite verification works, contractors' QA systems, and all other onsite activities for designated projects.
* Maintain detailed site records, including photographic and written documentation, to verify work completion and quality.
* Offer real-time feedback on construction issues to the project team and stakeholders.
* Support Project Engineers, Managers and Directors to ensure effective project delivery while taking responsibility for day-to-day surveillance of assigned project elements.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of technical surveillance or quality assurance within engineering or construction. A degree in Civil Engineering or related field is desirable but not essential. The ability to collaborate effectively as part of a high-performing team and excellent client and stakeholder relationship management skills are also essential.
