Sales & Business Development
* Identify and secure new opportunities across commercial and residential builders
* Conduct proactive outreach, site visits, and builder meetings
* Lead tendering activities, including submissions, follow‑ups, and clarifications
* Build a strong pipeline and manage all stages of the sales cycle
* Promote GenFab through targeted marketing and industry engagement
Technical & Design Understanding
* Interpret drawings, scopes, and builder requirements
* Provide input on design practicality, compliance, and constructability
* Support estimating with scope clarity and industry insight
* Identify risks, variations, and opportunities early in the process
Relationship Management
* Maintain strong relationships with builders, PMs, site managers, and key decision‑makers
* Represent GenFab professionally at site meetings, pre‑starts, and builder catch‑ups
* Ensure consistent communication and follow‑through on all opportunities
Reporting & Pipeline Management
* Maintain accurate CRM notes, forecasting, and sales reporting
* Provide market intelligence on pricing, competitors, and upcoming projects
* Work closely with the Managing Director, estimator, and workshop team to align capacity and pipeline
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Experience in construction, metalwork, fabrication, or a related trade environment
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction, metalwork, fabrication, or a related trade environment
* Strong understanding of building standards, compliance, and practical design
* Proven ability to win work through sales, tendering, and builder relationships
* Minimum 5+ years of sales experience specifically in winning work through quoting and builder relationships
* Ability to read drawings and communicate technical information clearly
* Confident, professional communication style respected by builders and PMs
* Strong organisational skills with disciplined follow‑up and pipeline management
Desirable
* Experience in balustrades, screens, gates, façades, or architectural metalwork
* Existing builder relationships in Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast
* Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes
