Digital & Communications Assistant (Permanent Part-Time)

Pooley Wines is seeking a motivated and creative Permanent Part-Time Digital & Communications Assistant to join our team based in Richmond, Tasmania.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in digital marketing, communications and brand management within Tasmania’s premium wine industry, with the potential for the role to develop into a full-time position.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and broader team, you will support the delivery of the Pooley Wines brand across digital platforms, customer communications and promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with social media planning, scheduling and content creation.
* Supporting email marketing campaigns and customer communications.
* Updating website content and digital assets.
* Assisting with photography, video and storytelling content across the winery, vineyard, events and hospitality experiences.
* Ensuring all communications, content and collateral adhere to strict brand guidelines and maintain the premium positioning of Pooley Wines.
* Supporting promotional campaigns, wine launches and events.
* Monitoring engagement and assisting with reporting and analytics.
* Maintaining brand consistency across all digital channels.
* Assisting with liaising and processing wine club members orders and updating details.
* Data entry and database list management.
* Updating and maintaining marketing collateral for cellar door, wholesale and estate operations.
* Responding to customer reviews and enquiries across social media and online platforms including Google and TripAdvisor.
* Undertaking additional administrative, marketing and communications tasks as required by senior management.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Creative, organised and proactive.
* Passionate about digital marketing, communications and social media.
* A strong written communicator with attention to detail.
* Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
* Interested in wine, hospitality, tourism or premium brands.
Desirable but Not Essential
* Currently enrolled in, or having completed, a university or tertiary qualification in Digital Marketing, Communications or Social Media would be highly regarded.
* Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp or similar platforms.
* Photography or short-form video skills.
* Current RSA Certificate
