As a Porter Team Leader, you will oversee the porter team, ensuring guests have a heightened and memorable experience throughout their stay. This role involves streamlining the inner workings of the porterage team in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to develop and lead our concierge team, providing exceptional guest service experiences. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a structured onboarding and training program for new team members
- Ensuring timely resolution of guest queries, requests, and needs
- Providing operational support and supervision on shift, handling guest complaints effectively
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of cultural events within the hotel, city, and surrounding areas
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Porter/Concierge or Team Leader in a hotel environment
- Current open driver's license (manual preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and colleagues
- High level of grooming and personal presentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
