Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our education and commercial projects in Perth. This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in managing construction, refurbishments, and new developments.
* Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and subcontractor procurement.
* Monitor project costs and deliver comprehensive financial reporting.
* Develop and maintain construction programs using Microsoft Project.
* Approve and negotiate subcontractor and supplier claims.
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* Evaluate and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A degree in Construction Management & Economics or an equivalent field.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager with a head contractor.
* Prior experience as a Contracts Administrator in the commercial sector is desirable.
* Demonstrated success managing education or tertiary projects valued over $20 million is desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project and construction scheduling with clear critical path methodology.
* Strong skills in contract administration, cost tracking, and monthly reporting.
* Subcontractor procurement and scope packaging experience.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with clients and stakeholders.
* Sound organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with construction management software.
