An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Least Restrictive Care to our Mental Health Specialised Services (MHSS) Inpatient and Rehabilitation Mental Health Units. The CNC – Least Restrictive Care works with the MHSS Inpatient and Rehabilitation Mental Health Services to identify, implement and evaluate a suite of local strategies and resources such as (but not limited to) "Safe Wards" to support the service to reduce the use of restrictive practices within the Authorised Mental Health Service.

Key Responsibilities include:
• This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Safe Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person-centred care.
• Responsibility for explicit professional portfolio content and context expertise.
• Consultation and provision of professional advice.
Remuneration value up to $13684 p.m., comprising salary between $ $516.60 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NG7) (Fixed Term Temporary position available until 30/06/2026).
