The Role As a Caseload Midwife within the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP), you will providecontinuity of care for a dedicated group of 35–40 women across all risk levels. Based at Thursday Island Hospital and serving surrounding remote communities, you will offer a high‐level, culturally appropriate service spanning pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period (up to six weeks).
This role emphasizes acollaborative, multidisciplinary approach, working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners and medical teams to ensure best‐practice care and health education for women and their families.
