We are seeking an enthusiastic customer service professional to deliver high-quality, professional customer service and ensure quality standards, processes, and documentation satisfy customer requirements.
The primary role of this position is to respond to customer requests and enquiries via phone, online, and face-to-face. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting in the delivery of high-quality customer service by providing accurate, consistent, and complete information to internal and external customers through first contact resolution.
* Empowering, supporting, and guiding the community to interact with Council using various service channels.
* Accurately completing customer action requests, attending to enquiries, and processing transactions while modelling customer-focused behaviour.
* Resolving issues and assisting customers through conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
* Maintaining productive working relationships within Council.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated outstanding communication skills, experience in a high-demand customer service environment, and conflict management skills.
Additionally, you will need to possess the ability to work autonomously or cooperatively in an integrated team environment, develop effective working relationships with stakeholders, and demonstrate resilience and manage high-volume workloads.
