Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Private Wealth Assistant to join our Perth office on a full-time, permanent basis. The primary focus of this position is to provide an exceptional level of client service and support which is consistent, effective and reliable.

Ord Minnett is a leading Australian wealth management firm, offering full-service stockbroking, financial planning, funds management and portfolio services. With a history spanning nearly 150 years, Ord Minnett is a highly respected name in the Australian investment landscape.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Build and foster professional relationships with all stakeholders.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of Ords procedures and general industry knowledge.
* Maintain knowledge of our product offerings and administration requirements.
* Flawless execution of adviser and client requests.
* Accurately prepare and cross check client paperwork and supporting documentation.
* Attend to daily mail.
* Report on outstanding settlements and manage account debtor and credit balances.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of corporate deal flows and processes.
* Provide accurate factual market information to clients and place execution only trade orders without error (if required)
* Provide support to Private Wealth Advisers which is consistent and efficient.
* Maintain and store detailed client files / General account housekeeping.
* Consistently meet risk and compliance requirements
* Generate and distribute client reporting.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess:

* Degree in Business or Financial Planning desirable
* Administration experience advantageous
* Ability to develop strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals
* High level of planning and organising skills
* Excellent and proven accuracy - strong attention to detail
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a high paced environment
* IT literate and proficiency including strong Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Teams
* Previous experience in Financial Services industry advantageous
* Experience working in a team and autonomously
